• Must have strong Python and SQL skills.
• Must work onsite 4 days a week in Boston, MA (Fridays from home).

Prestigious investment management firm is seeking an experienced Lead Systems Analyst to join the Portfolio Analysis Technology team located within the Investment Platform Technology organization. This role sits at the intersection of investment decision-making and technology, partnering closely with portfolio managers, research analysts, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver portfolio analytics capabilities that support how investors analyze portfolios, evaluate risk, and make investment decisions.

REQUIREMENTS

• MUST HAVE experience as a Lead/Principal Analyst within a financial investment management firm like Fidelity, KKR, State Street, etc.
• MUST HAVE experience gathering requirements directly from Portfolio Managers (the actual end-users --- NOT just other IT people). Must partner directly with portfolio managers and research analysts to understand portfolio analytics, risk, performance, and investment decision-making workflows.
• MUST HAVE strong knowledge of Portfolio Performance Analysis and regularly utilize Alpine, Aladdin, FactSet, MSCI Barra/Axioma, Bloomberg PORT, State Street Alpha, or Charles River.
• MUST HAVE strong technical skills using Python and SQL.
• Must work onsite 4 days a week in Boston, MA (Fridays from home).
