Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst in Boston to support oversight of multi-portfolio investment programs with assets over $7 billion. You will contribute to performance analytics, manager selection, asset allocation research, trade execution, risk management, and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting required.
• MBA/MSF progress toward is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years in investment management, treasury, or portfolio analysis.
• Experience in institutional asset management or health insurance treasury a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to portfolio management: monitoring, trade execution, requests, transfers, compliance.
• Produce monthly reports, dashboards, surveys, and IIC materials.
• Manage monthly performance reports with attribution analysis for senior management.
• Support asset allocation discussions and manager evaluation/selection.
• Engage with investment managers, consultants, custodians; document follow-ups.
• Develop and maintain financial models and stress-testing frameworks.
• Assist ad-hoc projects to automate data workflows using Bloomberg, Clearwater, BNY NEXEN.
• Update investment policies and support year-end audits and tax coordination.
