Job summary

Form Energy is seeking a Test Engineering Leader to architect and build the company’s Systems Test Organization from the ground up. You will define the vision, strategy, and execution of integration-level test objectives, anchoring quality across development and production.

You will lead a cross-functional team, shaping a world-class testing capability at the intersection of R&D and product engineering, and establish a culture of excellence. Relocation is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Test Engineering.
• 5+ years of leadership experience building and scaling technical teams.
• Proven success in developing, commissioning, and operating engineering test assets.
• Expertise in battery systems, electrical and mechanical testing, and test data analytics.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity, establish structure, and execute with precision.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategic roadmap for system-level test engineering.
• Recruit, structure, and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians.
• Design and operate test equipment supporting subscale electrode, cell/module, and pack testing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, design, process engineering, operations, reliability, and quality teams.
• Establish data analysis, traceability, and continuous improvement metrics.
• Define and drive culture, processes, and standards for technical excellence.
