Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting, LLC is seeking a Lead System Integrator – Critical Infrastructure in Texas. You will plan, lead and execute startup, commissioning and closeout of large BAS/EPMS projects, guiding teams of up to six integrators and coordinating with DSIs, vendors and clients.

Ideal candidates have PLC/SCADA experience (Allen Bradley, Ignition), HVAC/electrical knowledge and strong leadership. The role involves travel to project sites across Texas and beyond as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline.
• Two years of hands‑on installation, testing, validation and troubleshooting of controls infrastructure.
• Minimum of five years of additional experience in installation and troubleshooting of controls infrastructure, PLC and SCADA.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-functional and functional testing of BAS/EPMS systems using PLC and SCADA platforms.
• Troubleshoot BAS/EPMS equipment, IO, instrumentation and networks; document issues.
• Coordinate with design engineers, contractors, vendors and clients for startup and closeout.
