ARCH Global Precision in Escondido, CA is seeking an experienced Lead Swiss CNC Set-up Machinist to independently set up, troubleshoot, and support 8-axis machines (Tsugami, Citizen). You will verify programs, configure tooling, and perform in-process inspections to meet tight tolerances on medical and aerospace components.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of CNC experience with multi-axis Swiss machines, CAM verification familiarity, and ERP exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical certificate or AAS in Machining preferred.
• 3–5 years CNC machining experience (Tsugami, Citizen preferred).
• Experience with medical/aerospace/high-precision small parts a plus.
• Familiarity with CAM verification (Mastercam, Esprit) is a plus.
• ERP experience preferred (JobBOSS or similar).

Responsabilités

• Perform full set-ups on Swiss-style CNC machines for new and repeat jobs.
• Interpret setup sheets to determine tooling and bar stock requirements.
• Lead and assist in troubleshooting with other Set-up Machinists.
• Load and adjust programs (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or OEM controls).
• Verify alignment, tooling clearance, spindle speeds, and feeds for tight tolerances.
• Conduct First Article Inspections using micrometers and high-precision equipment.
• Document setup parameters and record inspection results for traceability.
• Maintain machine area cleanliness and assist with first-run validation.
