Job summary

ARCH Global Precision in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled machinist to operate and set up CNC equipment, load materials, deburr parts, and maintain daily housekeeping. You will read blueprints, adjust offsets, and document results to ensure parts meet specifications.

The role requires basic inspection with calipers and micrometers, multitask setup, and collaboration with supervisors to troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; advanced manufacturing certificate preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines: load starting material, unload machined parts, deburr, maintain housekeeping, adjust offsets.
• Set up non-complex operations: install/align fixtures, secure tools, load CNC programs, establish machining offsets.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and vision systems as required; use CMM for verification.

Education

High school diploma or GED; Vocational Technical High School or Community College Advanced Manufacturing Certificate graduate preferred; Equivalent combination of education and experience
