Job summary
Acero Precision in West Chester, PA is hiring a CNC Setup & Production Machinist to operate and set up Swiss-type CNC lathes for medical device components. You’ll read blueprints, select tooling, set offsets, and perform first-piece and in-process inspections in an ISO-regulated environment.
Requirements include at least 2 years of CNC machining, experience with Swiss-type lathes (Star, Citizen, Tsugami), and strong measurement skills with calipers and micrometers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience.
- Experience independently setting up and operating CNC Swiss-type lathes.
- Strong understanding of Swiss machining and precision turning.
- Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills.
- Experience with precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and indicators.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Swiss-type CNC lathes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and process documentation.
- Select and install appropriate tooling.
- Set work offsets and adjust tools as needed.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
