Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Sustaining Lead Design Engineer to drive design execution for sustaining programs and potential NPD work in Charlotte, NC. You will own CAD models, drawings and BOMs, coordinate ECNs, and provide technical direction to global design teams.

The role requires Creo Parametric, Windchill, and PLM experience, plus mentoring across onsite and offshore resources, ensuring quality, manufacturability and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience in an engineering environment.
• 3+ years of Windchill, PLM workflows, and lifecycle management experience.
• 3+ years Creo Parametric for 3D modeling and drawing creation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design execution for Sustaining Engineering and NPD programs.
• Own CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and configurations.
• Coordinate ECNs and release sequencing with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical direction to designers onsite and offshore.
• Mentor Creo and Windchill users and support PLM operations.
