Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an experienced Design Services leader in Fort Worth, TX to drive multi‑project execution and ensure design quality. You will guide technical discussions, mentor designers, and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

The role requires deep Creo and Windchill expertise, strong collaboration, and a proactive approach to risk mitigation, with travel up to 10% to support global initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 7+ years of product design experience in an engineering environment.
• 5+ years of experience with PLM workflows and release processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead Design Services execution across multiple projects and programs simultaneously.
• Provide technical and execution oversight for complex product development activities.
• Support workload balancing and resource planning across multiple project teams.
• Create, manage, and maintain Design Services schedules and execution plans for complex programs.
• Identify execution risks, schedule concerns, and resource constraints and proactively implement mitigation plans.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for complex design, documentation, release, and execution issues.
• Lead complex technical discussions and design reviews involving multiple stakeholders.
• Resolve complex design and integration issues in collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program teams.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, drafting practices, Design Services procedures, and product development process requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for advanced Creo methodologies, Windchill workflows, release processes, and design execution practices.
• Mentor and develop Design Leads, Lead Designers, and Designers.
• Support onboarding and development of technical personnel.
• Provide coaching, technical guidance, and career development support within the Design Services organization.
• Drive consistency in design execution, release readiness, and quality expectations across projects.
• Travel up to 10%.
