Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) in Texas is seeking a Survey Project Manager to oversee multiple land survey projects, manage budgets, and coordinate field and office staff to deliver high-quality results.

You will develop proposals, schedules, and contracts, maintain strong client relationships, and represent SAM at meetings and industry events. A Texas-registered RPLS and 5+ years in the field are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry related work experience in a professional or management capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated project/phase management experience on large surveys.
• Experience with land surveying tools and software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Geopak.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage land survey projects from start to finish while meeting quality standards and client specifications.
• Plan and implement procedures to maximize operating efficiency.
• Develop proposals, budgets, schedules, billings, and contracts.
• Sign and seal plats, field notes and control drawings if required.
• Establish work plans and staffing for multiple land survey projects.
• Develop client relationships and pursue business development opportunities.
