Job summary

The City of New York's DEP seeks a Borough Supervisor for the Green Infrastructure Maintenance Program. This role supervises cleaning of porous paver installations and infiltration basins, writes schedules, coordinates with Bureau partners, and oversees field operations to ensure maintenance meets established standards.

You will train staff, review logs and inspection reports, manage fleet maintenance, and work with contractors to maintain green infrastructure assets across the borough,

Qualifications

• Four years of recent full-time satisfactory experience in construction, maintenance, or repair with at least one year in a supervisory capacity
• Equivalent experience accepted

Responsibilities

• Supervises, instructs and trains full-time and seasonal employees assigned to maintenance of Green Infrastructure practices.
• Oversees care of inlet structures, pipes, and concrete components of DEP Green Infrastructure assets.
• Oversees maintenance and cleaning activities in Green Infrastructure facilities and grounds, including winter snow and ice management.
• Manages vehicle maintenance schedules and inspections, and ensures adherence to SOPs.
• Coordinates with contractors/vendors for maintenance or repair work and ensures safety compliance.
