Job summary

Amity Foundation in Tehachapi, California seeks a Supervising Counselor to lead face-to-face rehabilitative services within the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program. You will supervise six staff, provide training, and ensure ARMS and contract compliance while coordinating with CDCR partners and local institutions.

Ideal candidates hold AOD certification with at least two years of experience, and demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and communication skills for an on-site

Qualifications

• Certified as an AOD Counselor with DHCS-approved organization.
• Two years of experience as a certified AOD counselor.
• Licensed professional as required by contract.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately six AOD Counseling/Peer Navigator staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and training.
• Track and monitor Contractor staff performance and implement corrective measures.
• Assess and monitor counselor progress toward valid AOD certification.
• Supervise orientation and intake processes for new participants.
• Provide training and oversight of ARMS documentation for compliance.
• Coordinate and supervise OMCP Mentors assigned to the program.
• Verify internship hours and record monthly totals.
