Job summary

MPI is seeking a Lead Superintendent for $10M+ projects in the Boston area. You will oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization to closeout, drive safety programs, coordinate multiple subs, and manage schedules and QA/QC to ensure high-quality delivery.

The role requires 10+ years of field supervision, a strong GC background, and proficiency with Primavera P6. Occasional travel across Boston/495 corridor is expected. Competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction field supervision experience.
• Proven success delivering ground-up projects valued at $10M+.
• Strong commercial GC background.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and complex site logistics.
• Proficient with scheduling software such as Primavera P6.
• Comfortable with digital field management and reporting platforms.
• Willingness to commute to projects in Boston and surrounding areas.
• Life science, manufacturing, or multifamily experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all onsite construction operations from mobilization through closeout.
• Drive site safety initiatives and maintain a strong safety culture.
• Manage subcontractors, daily coordination, and project logistics.
• Oversee scheduling, look-ahead planning, and milestone execution.
• Implement QA/QC programs to ensure exceptional project delivery.
• Coordinate inspections, AHJ requirements, commissioning, turnover.
• Partner with Project Managers and operational leadership.
• Utilize digital construction tools for reporting and progress tracking.
