MPI is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead on-site construction in Worcester, MA, delivering landmark commercial projects from groundbreaking to closeout. You will coordinate subcontractors, field teams, and stakeholders to hit safety, quality, and schedule milestones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Proven experience leading ground-up construction projects from start to finish.
• Experience with public sector, K-12, higher education, municipal, or large institutional projects preferred.
• Strong scheduling, site logistics, quality control, and safety management.
• Ability to lead large field teams and multiple subcontractors.
• Experience on projects valued at $50M+ preferred.
• Stable career progression with reputable general contractors.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Must be commutable to Worcester, MA and project sites throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through project closeout.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure project milestones are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Maintain and enforce all safety standards, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Oversee quality control efforts and ensure all work meets project specifications and client expectations.
• Develop and manage short-term schedules to support overall project timelines.
• Conduct daily site walks, coordination meetings, and progress updates with project stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and schedule risks.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material needs to maximize jobsite productivity.
• Partner closely with Project Managers and executive leadership to drive project success.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, site documentation, and project records.
