Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent in Mobile, AL to oversee all construction site activities and manage field personnel. You will coordinate with project managers, read blueprints, and enforce safety practices to ensure timely project delivery.

With 5+ years in construction and at least 2 years in a lead role, you will foster strong client, subcontractor, and supplier relationships while leading teams to meet milestones and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of construction experience, including at least 2 years as a Lead Superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and contract documents.
• Familiarity with construction software is a plus.
• A team-oriented mindset with excellent leadership skills.
• Proven ability to foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all construction site activities.
• Lead field personnel to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Maintain daily communication with project managers and administrative staff.
• Develop and update project schedules to guarantee timely delivery.
• Assess the performance of field teams and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit daily reports and timesheets.
• Attend on-site and off-site meetings as needed.
• Promote and enforce safety protocols and practices.
