Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a SUE Field Technician III to designate, document and map utilities in diverse settings. The role requires leadership in the field and coordination with clients, utility owners, and service providers to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of SUE field experience, prior lead experience on QL-A and QL-B crews, and surveying experience. A valid driver's license and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of SUE field experience preferred.
• Experience as a lead on SUE QL-A & QL-B field crews required.
• Project-level field supervision on SUE QL-A & QL-B projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designation and documentation of utilities in rural and urban environments.
• Lead 2D and 3D QL-B mapping projects with up to two crews.
• Coordinate with clients, field crews, and project managers.
• Operate geophysical and survey equipment for utility mapping.
• Prepare data reports and ensure safety compliance.
