Job summary

SAM is hiring a SUE Field Technician III to designate, document, and map utilities in rural and urban settings. You will lead field crews, operate RTK GPR and total stations, and coordinate with clients to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years in SUE, strong leadership on QL-A/QL-B projects, and a driving record permitting site travel. This full-time role offers extensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of SUE field experience
• Lead on SUE QL-A & QL-B field crews
• Project-level field supervisor on QL-A & QL-B projects
• Surveying experience preferred
• Military experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license and MVR standards

Responsibilities

• Designation and documentation of utilities using geophysical equipment
• Lead 2D/3D QL-B mapping with up to two crews
• Coordinate with clients, field crews, office staff and service providers
• Operate geophysical and survey equipment for utility mapping
• Prepare Structures Data Reports and analyze utility plans
