Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced engineer for the Tucson, AZ area to lead test planning, readiness, and execution across lab, field, and flight environments. The role requires coordinating with design, systems, and specialty engineering teams to ensure disciplined verification and qualification.

The candidate should have a BS in an engineering discipline, 8+ years in test environments, and experience with environmental qualification and test instrumentation. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline listed above.
• Minimum eight years of technical/engineering experience.
• Experience with MIL-STD-810 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day test planning, readiness, and execution with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee creation of test procedures, configuration control, data analysis, and documentation for qualification and design verification.
• Lead lab, field, and flight test activities ensuring safety, compliance, and quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and align efforts with program goals and customer requirements.
