Aecon is seeking a Substation Field Lead with 3+ years of hands-on experience to oversee installation activities and mentor crews on high-voltage projects. You will interpret IFC drawings, plan weekly fronts, and ensure safety compliance while coordinating with site supervision to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of substation field experience with at least 1 year in a leadership capacity.
• Experience across substation construction scopes: foundations, conduit, grounding, cable trays, structural steel, bus work, LV wiring.

Responsibilities

• Interpret IFC drawings and provide redlines to Site Supervisor.
• Lead and coordinate daily installation activities for assigned crews.
• Plan and organize weekly work fronts to meet schedule.
• Manage materials, consumables, and tools for execution.
• Support Site Supervisor in resolving on-site challenges and crew issues.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and per specifications.
• Communicate site progress and material needs to leadership.
• Maintain crew timesheets and daily production reports.
• Promote Aecon's safety culture and compliance.
