Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of substation field experience, including 3+ years in a Foreman or supervisory role.
• Experience with foundation, conduit, grounding, and cabling in substation environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Safety-first mindset with incident-free operations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with client construction and field management teams.
• Lead site mobilization and demobilization activities, ensuring efficient startup and closeout of projects.
• Interpret project schedules and manage daily construction activities to meet key milestones and deadlines.
• Review IFC drawings and provide technical guidance to Foremen and crews.
• Mentor Foremen to drive productivity, safety, and quality outcomes.
• Manage on-site RFIs and support change order processes.
• Maintain accurate site as-built drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate and manage on-site material procurement, consumables, and logistics.
• Oversee labour, equipment, and subcontractors, including performance management and resolution of on-site issues or disputes.
• Review Foremen daily reports to ensure accuracy and proactively address concerns.
• Develop and deliver weekly construction updates to the project management team.
