Leidos is seeking a Substation Senior Structural Engineer with 5+ years in the utility sector. You will lead design reviews, supervise engineers, and develop bid/construction packages for substation projects.

Preferred locations include Orlando, FL or anywhere in Florida, with additional travel to Atlanta, GA or other U.S. sites. PE license is required; SE licensure is a plus. You will work within a civil-structural discipline to ensure code-compliant, safe, and cost-effective designs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Civil-Structural Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, or MS with 3+ years.
• Professional Engineer license required; SE licensure preferred.
• Experience with substation structure design, foundations and seismic loading considerations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design reviews of civil/structural components for substation projects.
• Develop bid/construction packages and mentor junior staff.
• Perform design reviews for structures, foundations, and related elements.
• Occasional travel and client site visits as required.
