Arcadis seeks a Lead Protection & Controls Engineer to lead design, integration, and implementation of protection, control, SCADA, and automation systems for medium- and high-voltage substations. You will serve as the technical lead, oversee engineering teams, and manage client interface through project lifecycle.

Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, PE license, and 12+ years in power delivery. Strong knowledge of protective relays, SCADA, and IEC standards is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 12+ years in electric utility, consulting, or power delivery engineering.
• Extensive experience with substation protection and control systems.
• Experience leading engineering teams and complex design projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and implementation of protection and control systems for substations from 12 kV to 765 kV.
• Oversee protection philosophies, relay settings, and control architectures.
• Develop diagrams, wiring, and interlocking narratives; review protection drawings.
• Interface with clients, mentor staff, and ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery.
