Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Substation Technician- A to perform construction, maintenance and repair of substation equipment across multiple sites. The role involves work in confined spaces and at elevated heights, with travel to Florida and other states as required.

Applicants should be able to lead crew members and work long hours during emergencies. The position requires a Commercial Driver's License and the ability to supply personal hand tools and safety boots.

Qualifications

• Commercial driver’s license required.
• Ability to work at heights up to 125 ft.
• Willingness to travel 90% of the time.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain or repair substation equipment and systems.
• Perform testing, adjustment and troubleshooting of HV/LV systems.
• Lead or coach crew members on site.
• Maintain company vehicles, test equipment and tools.
• Travel to various locations as required by customer demands.
