Job summary

HDR is seeking a Substation Engineering Manager/Team Lead to lead technical teams on high-voltage substation projects. You will partner with the Project Manager to ensure successful technical execution, oversee a team of engineers and designers, and drive quality and efficiency across multiple projects.

You will utilize a broad technical background in electrical engineering, have strong leadership and communication skills, and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional registration/license may be required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical team and execution of project deliverables.
• Develop and implement project execution plans for technical scope.
• Assign tasks and provide guidance to project engineers and designers.
• Support scope, schedule, and budget through technical input and risk management.
• Mentor and supervise engineers and designers; coordinate reviews and quality checks.
