Job summary

TIC – The Industrial Company is seeking a Lead Construction Supervisor to manage daily crew activities and production, ensuring adherence to project timelines, plans, specifications and safety standards. The role includes training crew members on proper safety and operational procedures and coordinating with other trades as needed.

The Lead will plan and supervise activities, monitor progress, and maintain reporting records while upholding quality workmanship and company safety policies on site

Qualifications

• Experience supervising craft workers on construction sites.
• Ability to plan, coordinate crews, equipment and materials.
• Knowledge of scheduling, material control and unit manhour performance.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials for safe, efficient construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is operated and maintained correctly.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity, time sheets and daily reports.
• May assist in developing a weekly schedule and sequencing activities for the crew.
• Ensure completion of work within estimated costs while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Ensure crew safety and conduct operations according to safety rules.
• Lead toolbox meetings, communicate safety concerns, scope, plans and schedules.
• Monitor compliance with company policies.
