Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company seeks a Lead position to direct daily activities and production per project timelines and industry standards. You will train and supervise crews, ensuring safety and quality while coordinating with supervision to meet schedules and budgets.

The role emphasizes effective communication, adherence to safety, and proactive planning to optimize resources and productivity on site.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in the field or related area.
Ability to plan tasks, teach safety practices, and follow procedures.
Knowledge of scheduling, material control, unit manhour performance, estimating fundamentals and job cost management systems.
Clear communication with craft workers under supervision.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Superintendent and Project Management to organize crew, materials, and equipment to achieve productivity and quality within budget.
Inspect work progress, equipment and sites to verify safety and compliance with specifications.
Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily management reports.
Assist in developing weekly schedules and sequencing activities for assigned crew.
Ensure timely completion of work within estimated costs while maintaining quality.
Ensure safety of crew; conduct operations per company and government safety rules.
Lead toolbox meetings; communicate safety concerns, scope, plans and schedules to leadmen and crews.
Monitor compliance with company policies by all employees under supervision.
Continuously check crew work and adjust as needed; prioritize workload within budget.
