Mackenzie is seeking a highly skilled structural engineering lead (PE required) for our Seattle office. This full-time role leads a team of entry-level engineers, coordinating with department leadership on strategic vision and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Ideal candidates have OSHPD/HCAI experience or strong Seattle connections, and can integrate into the design and construction community of the region. Salary range reflects senior responsibilities and location.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering is required.
• 6–14 years of structural experience with relevant project types.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• Structural Engineering (SE) license preferred.
• Working knowledge of codes (ASCE 7, ASCE 41, ACI, AISC, etc.).
• Coordinate and assemble construction documents for small to medium projects.
• Work independently through design development, construction documents, and contract administration.
• Experience with steel and manufacturing/semiconductor projects is a plus.
• Experience creating and maintaining project specifications.
• Previous team management is a plus but not required.
• Open to new ideas and challenges.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop structural projects from conceptual planning through design documents and construction.
• Collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, and MEP teams.
• Perform structural gravity and lateral calculations on a wide variety of projects.
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and lead the structural design team.
• Collaborate with Structural Department leadership located in other offices on planning and growth strategies.
