Job summary

Mackenzie is seeking a talented structural engineer (PE required) for our Vancouver office. This full-time role requires 4–6 years of structural experience with opportunity to lead on a range of projects. Hybrid schedule with in-office Tue–Thu and optional remote Monday/Friday.

Responsibilities include design coordination, multidisciplinary collaboration, and leading gravity and lateral calculations across varied projects. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required.
• 4 to 6 years of structural experience with relevant project types.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• Working knowledge of codes (ASCE 7, ASCE 41, ACI, AISC, etc.).
• Ability to assist in coordinating and assembling an entire set of construction documents on small to medium projects.
• Candidates with steel experience and interest in manufacturing and semiconductor projects are a plus.
• Open to new ideas and challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural projects from conceptual planning through design documents and construction.
• Collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, and MEP consultant teams.
• Perform and lead structural gravity and lateral calculations on a wide variety of projects.
