Job summary

Confidential Recruiting Partners seeks a Structural Senior Project Manager (PE) to lead structural engineering projects from concept through construction. You will oversee design efforts, serve as Engineer of Record, mentor staff, and drive client development in a collaborative environment.

The role offers a hybrid work model in Austin, TX with long-term leadership growth, QA/QC oversight, and opportunities to pursue major projects within the practice.

Qualifications

• Active PE license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with structural emphasis.
• 10+ years of structural engineering design experience.
• Experience producing and reviewing construction documents.
• Strong communication, leadership, and client management skills.
• Experience serving as project manager on structural engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer of Record for assigned structural engineering projects.
• Lead projects from planning and design through construction and closeout.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and resources.
• Oversee the preparation and production of structural construction documents.
• Perform and oversee structural engineering calculations and design activities.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, industry standards, and project requirements.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews of structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
