Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer for the Starship Launch Pad, based in Starbase, Texas. You will lead a cross-disciplinary team, develop drawings and reports, perform design and analysis for steel/concrete structures, and manage contracts through to commissioning.

Onsite work is required with extensive field observations and problem solving. Qualifications include a civil/structural engineering degree and 5+ years in related design, analysis, or construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in civil/structural design, analysis, construction and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team, consultants and contractors through design to commissioning.
• Develop and issue drawings and reports for aerospace, industrial and commercial projects.
• Perform civil/structural design and analysis for steel and concrete.
• Manage contracts with subcontractors and coordinate site inspections.
• Resolve field conflicts with real-time decisions.
