Job summary

SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP is seeking a Structural Engineer for the Launch Pad at Starbase, Texas. You will join an elite team of engineers to design and activate a second orbital launch pad for the Starship rocket. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with at least one year of relevant experience, and proficiency in design tools like AutoCAD and SAP.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in civil or structural design, analysis, construction, and drafting.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) steel manual.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams throughout the civil and structural engineering process.
• Develop and issue drawings and design documentation.
• Perform design and analysis calculations for structural components.
