Job summary

SpaceX is seeking civil/structural engineers to design and deliver launch-pad infrastructure, site facilities, and utilities. You will develop drawings and reports, perform structural calculations, and ensure integration with other Starship systems.

Qualifications

Avanced degree in civil/structural engineering or related field; ABET preferred.
1+ years in civil/structural design, analysis, construction, or drafting.
Strong data-driven decision making and engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Own design/development of civil and structural systems for launch pads and site infrastructure.
Develop drawings, design docs, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial projects.
Perform design/analysis calculations for structural steel and concrete.
Handle grading, drainage, stormwater, water distribution, and underground utilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate civil/structural with Starship systems.
Provide onsite inspections and resolve field design/construction conflicts.
Partner with teams to generate design improvements; own large business outcomes.
