Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Structural Engineer III to lead analyses and designs for solar, industrial, and power projects in Greenville, SC. You will supervise scope, schedule, and staff while ensuring compliance with ACI, AISC, IBC, and ASCE standards.

You will stamp deliverables as PE/SE, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development within a collaborative team at the Greenville location.

Qualifikationen

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree required; focus on structural engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive structural engineering experience in design, analysis, and project management.
• PE or SE licensure is highly desirable to demonstrate competency.

Aufgaben

• Prepare, review, and validate structural calculations, sketches, and specifications; support design drawings.
• Provide technical leadership through vendor docs and shop drawings alignment with design intents.
• Manage project scope and schedule within discipline; identify deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts with teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Oversee QA of design documents to meet codes and support construction feasibility.
• Stamp deliverables as PE or SE where applicable; demonstrate professional integrity.
