Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer for its Food & Beverage division in the U.S. This role leads the development of structural solutions from concepts through construction, coordinating with operations, preconstruction, architectural, and other engineering teams to ensure practicality and cost-effectiveness.

The position requires strong BIM skills, experience with industrial/facility projects, and leadership across design to construction.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of structural design experience.
• Experience in food & beverage, industrial or controlled environments preferred.
• Knowledge of Design-Build practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer of Record for in-house structural design services.
• Lead design through construction, collaborating with multiple disciplines.
• Produce construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and optimize design workflows.
• Coordinate with Preconstruction and Operations to meet budgets and schedules.
