Job summary
Carroll Daniel Engineering seeks an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to lead the design and delivery of structural systems for Food and Beverage projects from concept through construction and into facility operations.
You will oversee a team, coordinate with architecture, MEP, and process engineering, and ensure designs meet budgets, codes, and schedules.
Qualifications include 15+ years in structural design, Georgia licensure, Revit proficiency, and a track record with design-build projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- 15+ years of relevant structural engineering design experience.
- Experience in food & beverage, freezer/cooler or industrial facilities desirable.
- Experienced with Design-Build and Progressive Design-Build best practices.
Responsibilities
- Engineer of Record for in-house structural design services.
- Lead design and production of drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with architecture, MEP, refrigeration, and process engineering.
- Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and support construction administration.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design standards.
