Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • 7+ years of post-education experience in the analysis and design of building structures.
  • Professional Engineer license.
  • Advanced knowledge of structural building codes, design standards, and principles.
  • Experience leading portions of structural design work and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently and mentor junior staff.
  • Willingness to travel as required by project needs.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Lead structural analysis and design of new and existing buildings including gravity and lateral systems.
  • Develop and oversee drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and design documentation.
  • Coordinate structural requirements with architectural, civil, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection disciplines.
  • Review calculations, drawings, and documents for completeness, coordination, and compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring for junior staff.
  • Lead or support site visits and construction-phase services.
  • Plan discipline work and identify technical risks to deliverables.
