Job summary

WSP seeks a full-time Early Career Structural (Buildings) Engineer to join the Federal Programs AEC Team in Denver, CO, with opportunities in Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, or Virginia Beach. The role offers mentorship and hands-on experience from design through construction-phase support on federal projects.

You will assist with structural analysis, drawings, and documentation using ETABS, Revit, RAM Concept, and AutoCAD, collaborate across disciplines, and travel as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required.
  • 0–1 year of relevant structural engineering experience (internship or co-op OK).
  • Ability to read codes and design criteria and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with structural analysis and design of new/existing buildings.
  • Develop structural drawings, calculations, specs, and BIM models.
  • Support site visits and construction-phase activities.
  • Coordinate with architectural, civil, geotechnical, and MEP teams.
