Job summary

WSP is seeking a Mid-Level Structural (Buildings) Engineer to support the Federal Programs Team from Denver, CO and other US locations. The engineer will handle design through construction-phase tasks, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on federal and public-sector projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, a PE license, and strong skills in ETABS, SAP2000, and Revit. Travel may be required, with opportunities across major U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant post-education experience in the analysis and design of building structures.
  • Professional Engineer license.
  • Proficient knowledge of structural building codes, design standards, and structural engineering principles.

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform structural analysis and design of new and existing buildings, including gravity and lateral systems.
  • Develop structural drawings, calculations, and design documentation.
  • Lead or support site visits and construction-phase services.
  • Provide technical guidance and quality review for junior staff.
