Qualifications

• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications, or experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings.
• Travel up to 50% domestic travel with short notice.
• 2+ years of data center or mission critical facilities, or 2+ years of construction or project management experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: PE license and data center design experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a multi-disciplinary team on conceptual design, build, and retrofit projects at existing data centers.
• Create, review and release data center structural improvements and designs.
• Refine Basis of Design, product development, sustainability, and template specs for structural systems.
• Serve as technical advisor for projects including foundation and structural systems.
• Create, review and release structural design RFPs.
• Manage external structural design consultants across audit, design and implementation.
• Lead initiatives to improve quality, schedule, or reduce costs.
• Work on multiple data center build and capital improvement projects simultaneously.
