Amazon AWS is seeking a Data Center Civil Engineer to join its East Design team. You will lead civil design for Amazon Data Centers, manage external design consultants, and coordinate with architecture, structural and MEP engineers on site layouts, grading, utilities and power substations for prototypical data center sites.

The role emphasizes cost, schedule, and quality improvements, travel for site assessments, and ensuring safety and design standards across North and South America.

Formación

• PE license required.
• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Management or equivalent.
• 6+ years of site-civil design experience in commercial, warehouse or industrial facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Manage external civil design consultants through data center design and construction.
• Review site layout, grading, power substations, storm water, and utilities.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP design engineers.
• Develop site layout concepts using Civil 3D with grading, utilities and circulation patterns.
• Communicate design standards and maintain project documentation before, during and after construction.
• Develop design standards, prototypes, and templates for data center site design.
