Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the Americas region seeks a Data Center Structural Engineer to join its design team.

The role focuses on designing prototypical DC facilities, providing technical guidance, reviewing milestone drawings, and solving large-scale construction challenges. The candidate will work with Architects, Engineers and Designers to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective data centers worldwide, with emphasis on codes (IBC, ASCE).

Qualifications

• Must hold a Professional Engineer license and a structural engineering degree.
• 7+ years of experience in structural design for industrial or commercial projects.
• Experience with data center design, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design resilient, cost-efficient data center facilities.
• Review milestone drawings by consultants and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Solve large-scale implementation issues and ensure compliance with codes and standards (IBC, ASCE).
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and designers to deliver prototypical DC facilities.
