Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc is seeking a Structural Engineer IV for our Beaumont office. You will lead civil/structural design efforts on complex assignments, perform advanced analyses, and produce detailed drawings and calculations aligned with codes and client requirements.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure on-time delivery within budget. Requires 6+ years in civil/structural engineering and PE is preferred; incumbents should be proficient in

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Structural coursework is required for structural engineering positions.
• Professional Engineer registration is highly preferred.
• Requires 6+ years of relevant industrial experience in civil/structural engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete design of complex civil/structural engineering assignments.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
• Produce preliminary designs and material take-offs for estimates.
• Create detailed design calculations and construction drawings.
• Check calculations and assist drafting with layout problems.
• Lead small to large teams and coordinate across disciplines.
• Review vendor drawings and construction submittals for conformance.
• Provide field data collection and construction support.
