Job summary

Atrium Health – Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support the SPD operations during nights. You will serve as a departmental resource for SPD and other departments and model excellent customer service while maintaining clear communication with the Sterile Processing Supervisor.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED with two years in sterile processing, CSPDT certification, and strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with two years' Sterile Processing experience.
• CSPDT certification required.
• Certification in Sterile Processing Management encouraged within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead and educate SPD staff on the sterile processing cycle.
• Assist Supervisor with department production and staffing.
• Direct case carts management and communicate instrument needs to SPD team.
• Ensure equipment functions properly and report issues to Supervisor.
• Maintain compliance logs and help enforce departmental policies.
