Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland seeks a Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain boilers, chillers, HVAC systems and related equipment. You will monitor gauges, record readings, lubricate machinery, and maintain clear documentation for the engineering team.

The role requires extensive experience with central plant operations, building automation systems, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate shift work while upholding safety standards and reliability.

Qualifications

• OSHA regulations knowledge applicable to central plant operations.
• Understanding of electricity, hydraulics, and mechanics principles.
• Experience maintaining boilers, chillers and their auxiliaries; familiarity with plant tools and fuels.

Responsibilities

• Operates boilers, chillers, air conditioning equipment and ancillary equipment per Chief Engineer instructions.
• Read gauges and meters; record readings and monitor operating conditions.
• Lubricate fans, pumps, motors, and other equipment; keep maintenance records.
• Monitor BAS and adjust as needed; inspect plants during shifts.
• Assist maintenance techs with casino/hotel work; communicate issues clearly to Chief Engineer.
