Job summary

SpaceX in Texas is seeking a Structural Test Engineer for the Starship program. You will work with vehicle engineers to design, build, and execute large system-level static and dynamic tests, contributing to the verification of structural integrity for flight hardware.

You will lead a small team of engineers and technicians, develop test procedures, troubleshoot DAQ and instrumentation, and review data with scripts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 1+ year testing experience.
• Experience with mechanical or data acquisition and control system design.
• Willingness to work in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute static and dynamic system-level structural tests.
• Design, modify, build mechanical systems and fluid systems.
• Develop and maintain test procedures and software.
• Operate the test stand and lead technicians.
• Review data manually or with scripts.
