Job summary

LatchBio in San Francisco is seeking a leader to design our approach to teaching agents how to understand and handle complex proteomic data, mapping end-to-end workflows from instrument outputs to scientific decisions.

You will lead software engineers and biologists, build datasets to teach reasoning across proteomics domains, including QC, LC-MS, protein sequencing, and clinical interpretation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with genomics or genetics data.
• Experience in drug mechanism of action studies using population genomics.
• Prior contribution to a novel genomics method, tool, or published pipeline.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R.

Responsibilities

• Design our technical approach to teaching agents how to understand and handle complex proteomic data, mapping out end-to-end data analysis workflows.
• Lead a team of software engineers and biologists building datasets to teach agents to reason across proteomics domains.
• Collaborate on projects involving QC, proteomics techniques, protein sequencing, and clinical interpretation of proteomics data.
