Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Event Manager to support planning, organization, and management of events within and around the venue. You will monitor logistics, coordinate with contractors, and ensure smooth execution from booking through conclusion.

The role requires 4+ years in event management, strong communication, and leadership abilities. Location is Minneapolis, with a salaried, exempt position at $65,000-$75,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• At least 4 years related experience and/or training.
• Venue management experience preferred.
• Complex and large scale event management experience preferred.
• Concert and live production event management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets with client groups to plan and organize assigned meetings and/or events and promote stadium services to increase profitability.
• Guides clients in preparation of events by explaining contract provisions, policies and procedures.
• Coordinates activities with service contractors for meetings and events.
• Keeps clients informed on status of deadlines and event timelines including staffing confirmations, room set-up specifications, tour requests, and technical needs.
• Prepares cost estimates and final billing.
• Serves as primary liaison between clients and facility departments.
• Supervises event day staff and oversees all aspects of facility operations for events.
• Coordinates with service contractors, city providers, and external entities as needed.
• Communicates requirements to Stadium departments clearly and timely.
• Assists in scheduling operational set-ups and strikes to provide/receive equipment or services.
• Monitors and supervises facility set-up and strike when necessary.
• Assists in training event services staff.
• Maintains close contact with clients and staff during events and follows up on requests and issues.
