Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in security, justice, hospitality, sports management, or business administration.
• Minimum 5 years in security, public safety, venue ops, or events with 2+ years in supervision.
• Ability to obtain required pre-employment screenings and licenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead event and non-event security operations and incidents.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) for assigned events.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling for Target Center events and daily ops.
• Oversee payroll, training, schedule compliance, and admin tasks.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain part-time security staff.
• Deliver security training, including new-hire and emergency procedures.
• Provide leadership during incidents per policies and procedures.
• Document, report, and escalate incidents when needed.
• Develop ongoing security training, tabletop exercises, and drills.
• Maintain standards for performance, attendance, appearance, and service.
• Manage security equipment, maintenance, and resources.
• Collaborate with venue departments, law enforcement, and event staff.
• Assist in policies, post orders, and emergency plans.
• Maintain visible leadership and support staff during events.
• Promote professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
