Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Seattle is seeking an experienced Box Responsible Engineer to lead the SSPA hardware program for lunar communication systems. You will own box-level architecture, drive cross-card interfaces, and coordinate with RF, power, control, and software teams to deliver a flight-ready assembly.

The role requires 8+ years in RF/microwave hardware, strong system integration, and hands-on test experience with RF equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience developing RF/microwave hardware.
• Experience as a box/assembly/product-level Responsible Engineer or technical lead.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Box Responsible Engineer for SSPA, owning box-level architecture and interfaces.
• Lead box-level design reviews, trade studies, and risk management.
• Own SSPA integration and test campaigns, including environmental and qualification testing.
• Define and execute box-level validation and verification of RF performance and power behavior.
