Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours or 1 business day of referral.
• Develop and obtain approval for the treatment plan from referring physician.
• Supervise SLP Assistants in direct patient care and related activities.
• Communicate patient progress with supervisor and health team members.
• Record evaluations and treatment notes; maintain recertification documentation.
• Participate in discharge planning and related conferences.
• Act as clinical preceptor for CFY/RFP SLP students; comply with state acts and facility policies.
